WHY DO PEOPLE LOVE BTS SO MUCH?

The BTS (RM, JIN, SUGA, JHOPE, JIMIN, TAEHYUNG & JUNGKOOK)  obsession is literally all over the world. They are always trending on social media, creating new records every time they drop a song or a music video. You see their pictures on big hoardings in malls & advertisements. Their selcas (aka selfies)  get gazillions of likes and comments in just a few minutes and now it seems like the United Nations is also getting the hang of it.

Yes! You read it right, It was recently announced that The group has been appointed as the "Special Presidential Envoy for Future Generations and Culture' by the President of South Korea Moon Jae In. BTS is going to the UN again and this will be their second time addressing the UN.

But the question remains what makes them so popular? Why do millions of young ladies and hundreds of young men all around the world love BTS?

What is it about them that attracts a certain section of people while the other section is left untouched by their charms and makes them wonder what it is that they are missing out on?

Well, here have a look-

RELATABLE & INSPIRATIONAL LYRICS

BTS songs talk about real stuff. Their lyrics are relatable and inspiring. On one hand, it talks about achieving your dream and working hard for it and to put your weakness away ( song name: No More Dream), while on the other it consoles you what if you couldn’t achieve your dreams, what if it didn’t work the way you wanted, this is life, learn to deal with it (song name: Suga’s Interlude). Whereas Not Today is a song giving a message to not give up on their dreams, NOT TODAY!

And not only that but the lyrics also range from heartbreak songs to songs related to mental health.

FYI: The group mostly writes and produces the songs on their own.

THEY GIVE HOPE FOR A BETTER FUTURE

There are thousands of comments or posts where fans express how BTS gives them hope and gets them out of difficult situations. It was not them who found BTS rather it was BTS who found them when they needed something to hold onto.

Their new single Permission to Dance definitely promises about a hopeful future ( a small hint of life post-pandemic). And how can we forget about Life goes on, which was released during a strict lockdown all over the world and the song was exactly what the world needed, especially the ARMYS.

CHILDLIKE INNOCENCE & THEIR GOOFY PERSONALITY

Despite being the biggest icon of today’s time, the burden and responsibility that comes with it, BTS members are still the same goofballs that they were when they first debuted. They don't shy away from showing their different personalities and that they are not perfect in everything they do ( well except Jungkook, who can do literally the world has to offer ) and also we all agree that Jungkook is not human, he’s an angel ;)

HARD-WORKING GROUP OF LADS

If you’re an ARMY and have been following them for some time now you would have already known their struggles and the past difficulties they faced when they were trainees. Even after debuting, success didn’t come easily to them. They fought hard for it and the fact BTS deserve each and every ounce of love and support and popularity that they are receiving right now. Everybody now wants to be where BTS is today and this is the biggest compliment for anybody. All this is nothing but a fruitful result of the years of dedication and hard work that they have been doing all this time and continues to do so.

They bring 2-3 albums every year and this shows the passion they have for their art that even after achieving such heights in their career they are still motivated enough every day to bring us new songs and music videos and other shows.

THEIR CHEMISTRY AND BOND WITH EACH OTHER

The fact that younger members call the elder members HYUNG ( meaning: elder brother) is already heart-melting. They consider themselves as a family, they share a dorm where everybody lives together. Jungkook ( the youngest of them all) has been heard many times saying how he was just 15 years old when he first joined the group. Other members literally raised him in a way. He even says that whatever he has learned is actually learned from his hyungs and he is literally an amalgamation of all six members.

BTS is considered the most popular and celebrated group after the iconic THE BEATLES. With the charms of BTS refusing to subdue we are much more excited than before for what more BTS have in their sleeves for us in the future.

If the ARMYS would have their way there will be a few hundred more qualities to be listed here.  And to be honest we don’t mind either but someone has to eat and sleep too ;)
